3D Artist
- Using 3D modeling, texture, mapping, and other techniques to create graphics, visual effects, and animations.
- Collaborating with Animators and other artists and attending meetings to discuss ongoing projects.
- Understanding the project requirements and conceptualizing creative ideas.
- Creating storyboards to visualize scenes and create a realistic environment for movies, games, and other visual effects.
- Receiving feedback from directors, animators, designers, and clients, and editing your creations based on the comments received.
- Reviewing 3D arts and recommending improvements.
- Creating 3D sculpts and assets to meet artistic standards.
- Troubleshooting any problems that arise during work on a project.
- Meeting with clients, Designers, and Directors to discuss and review projects and deadlines.
- Take direction from the Art Director and Lead Artist and make changes as needed
- Help to collaborate and problem solve any technical limitations and issues using creative and efficient solutions
- Deliver high quality work on-time
2D Artist
- Liaising with lead designers and developers regarding the style and feel of the game
- Researching references and resources required to produce the assets of the game
- Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style
- Applying textures to all visual elements
- Adding lighting and shading effects to all elements, ensuring consistency in color, intensity and lighting levels
- Animating characters and creatures
- Creating sound effects, conducting audio mixes and design
- Designing promotional materials, packages, posters and websites for the launch of the game
- Producing prototypes for testing
- Advising on new technologies
- Problem solving both creative and technical issues
- Adhering to the production schedule
- Curating and cataloguing of the asset library
- Designing with the user experience in mind
